4th – 6th October
A founder member of the Scottish Lettercutters Association, having worked with glass and stone, ten years ago Jane Raven turned her talent toward painting and printmaking. Her love of the natural world and its smallest marvels – plants, seeds, mushrooms, seaweed, fish – has inspired a body of Zen-like images, on display here.
Not restricting herself to one technique, Raven’s work includes copper and zinc plate etchings, toyobo (photopolymer gravure) prints, gyotaku (Japanese fish) prints, monotypes, relief prints and stone lithographs.
