Tippecanoe Gallery (Dunbar, East Lothian) and Tippecanoe (Portree, Isle of Skye) are galleries and gift shops by the sea with a distinct style of their own, always sourcing the new and unusual, from pictures, prints, gifts, books and cards to furniture, mirrors, interiors and lighting. New stock is always arriving. The gallery currently includes new original work by Gary Walton, who loves to paint landscapes which were originally inspired by Salvador Dali. Gary’s pictures emanate a magical quality, an ethereal contrast of reality and dreamlike visions. He says: “Dali was the artist to give me the inspiration to create my own unique style.” The gallery also shows original work by Nagib Karsan and Joanne Wishart.

The gallery regularly rotates its stock of framed prints by popular artists such as Kate Philp, Victoria Crowe and Peter Brook, so if you remember seeing a particular picture on a previous visit, please ask about its availability.

The gallery's extensive range of gifts also includes prints by Keli Clark, pottery from Highland Stoneware and Jersey Pottery and art glass by Paul Barcroft.
