Michael Tarr: ‘Italia’

Michael Tarr was born in Somerset and trained at the Somerset College of Art. After college he spent 12 years working in architecture before becoming a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and painter. He has been a full-time artist for the past 15 years.

Michael has shown widely in the West Country, both in solo and mixed exhibitions. He has regularly had paintings shown at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Royal West of England Autumn Exhibition, where he won the Watercolour Prize in 2009.

‘Italia’ features paintings based on his frequent visits to Italy.
