Spacious and fully accessible, this long established gallery in Glasgow’s West End also offers a range of hard to find services, including bespoke framing, conservation, valuation and shipping worldwide complemented by friendly, informative attention from the owners.

Gallery Artists for Summer

Artists on show include: George Birrell, with his colourful, East Coast fishing villagescapes; Marion Drummond, whose beautifully lit life models and large scale floral settings featured very successfully in a spring show at Annan Art; Lynsey Ewan, who explores ‘art imitating photography’ on a large scale with her out of focus botanical subjects; Elena Kourenkova, with her enigmatic ‘Everywoman’ series mocking human foibles; James Orr, whose west coast landscapes echo the Scottish Colourist tradition; and Peter Nardini, with his characteristic shadow-dominated scenes.

These are complemented by applied art, including eclectic ceramic sculptures from Alex Johannsen, sculptures in native hardwood, fused glass from Scott Irvine and jewellery by MacInnes and LeJu.
