BIO
Edinburgh-based photographer Barry Slaven is a graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art. He records a range of life subjects, from majestic woods to urban landscapes.
His stimulus is not ‘How to take a photograph’, but ‘Why?’, believing this makes it easier to create a successful image. Rather than as a recording of a singular moment in history, Barrry sees a photograph as an eternally evolving piece of media bearing a basic retrospective through the artist behind the lens.
