The summer exhibition at the Glasgow School of Art’s Reid Gallery is ‘Against Landscape’, which examines how landscape painting has been manifested in a variety of practices. The exhibition will include not traditional landscape paintings, but a diverse collection of contemporary and historic works revolving around the idea of much modernist painting had a heightened awareness of the rural embedded with it.
